MRI MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging - utilizes techniques to visualize the structure and function of the body. It provides detailed images of the body in any plane. MRI provides much great contrast between the different soft tissues, making it especially useful in neurological (brain), musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and oncological imaging. A powerful magnetic field is used to align the Hydrogen atoms in water in the body. RF fields are used to systematically alter the alignment of this magnetization, causing the hydrogen nuclei to produce a rotating magnetic field detectable by the scanner. This signal can be manipulated by additional magnetic fields to build up enough information to reconstruct an image of the body. We offer used Magnetic Resonance imaging systems that are well maintained. Refurbishing is optional.
CT Scanners
CT Scanners - Computed Tomography(Tomo means slice in Greek)is a medical imaging modality method employing tomography. Powerful computers process digital geometry to generate a 3D image of the inside of an object from a large series of two-dimensional X ray images taken around a single axis of rotation. We offer used & refurbished Single & Multi-Slice systems.- form 1 to 128 slices.
X-Ray
An X-ray (Röntgen) is a form of electromagnetic radiation used for diagnostic radiography . X-rays are a form of ionization radiation and as such can be dangerous. X-RAY SYSTEMS include Radiographic systems that image is produced on film, Fluoroscopic systems that images are viewed on a monitor (being processed through an imaging chain). Latest models are digital radiography utilizing sensors and computers to digitize the image, making it easy to manipulate, process, store, archive and send.
Ultrasound
Medical Sonography (ultrasonography) is an ultrasound-based diagnostic technique used to visualize muscles, tendons, and many internal organs, their size, structure and any pathological lesions with real time tomographic images. It is one of the most widely used diagnostic tools in modern medicine. The technology is relatively inexpensive, mostly non-invasive, and portable. Ultrasound poses no known risks to the patient. there are dedicated systems for different studies such as Ob/Gyn, Radiology, Cardiac, etc. Systems that offer all studies are referred to as "Shared Service". The latest in this area is 3D/4D imaging. 3D being reconstructed three dimensional volume image and 4D seeing same in motion utilizing series of images (real time).
Nuclear Med/PET
Nuclear medicine procedures use radiopharmaceuticals (isotopes). In diagnosis, radioactive substances are administered to patients and theradiation emitted is detected. The diagnostic tests involve the formation of an image using a gamma camera or positron emission tomography (PET). Nuclear medicine differs from most other imaging modalities in that the tests primarily show the physiological function of the organs being investigated as opposed to traditional anatomical imaging. PET-CT is a device which combines in a single gantry system both a PET and an X ray CT, so that images acquired from both devices can be taken sequentially.
Mammography
Mammography is still the modality of choice for screening of early breast cancer, since it is relatively fast, reasonably accurate, and widely available in developed countries. Breast cancers detected by mammography are usually much smaller (earlier stage) than those detected by patients or doctors as a breast lump. Mammography uses X ray to obtain a DETAILED image on film (Analog), or a digital image (Digital).
Miscellaneous
Under this category we include patient monitors, stress systems, dental, ophthalmology, lab and more .... Monitoring parameters such as ECG, NIBP & IBP (blood pressure), Pulse Oximetery (SpO2), temperature & CO2.
All laboratory analyzers, centrifuges, etc., Ophthalmology and Dental equipment.
Portables (X Ray / C-Arm) Portable X ray units are radiographic systems on wheels. Usually they offer 300mA 120kVp power that could be stored in batteries on some models. Analog system will create image on film and a digital system will display image on screen for save/send/print options. Surgical C arms are fluoroscopic systems that allow viewing of live images on a monitor. Most systems offer storage and 2 monitors: one for viewing live images and the other for archiving stored images. Various models will offer larger image intensifier (normally 6", 9", or 12"), some will have extended surgical software and others will offer cardiac or vascular facilities such as Digital Subtraction, Roadmapping, cine, etc.
Surgery
Surgery (chirurgiae) is a medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental techniques on a patient to investigate and/or treat a pathological condition such as disease or injury, to help improve bodily function or appearance, or sometimes for some other reason. This procedure(s) take place in the OR (Operating Room) also called theater . Many different types of equipments are used for various tasks such as sterilizing the environment and equipment, special tables, anesthesia machines, special lighting, instruments, power tools, endoscopes, monitors to display vital signs and that patient is sadeted at the right amount, video equipment, emergency equipment such as defibrillators, ventilators and more ...
SP /Angio /Cath
Special Procedure, Angiography and Cardiac Catheterization are medical imaging techniques in which an X ray image is taken to visualize the inside of blood vessels and organs of the body. With particular interest in the arteries, veins and the heart chambers.
Procedures involve use of catheters inserted and directed through blood vessels to the heart or any blockage. Also use of contrast dye is common to improve and clarify image.
